Protections
Victims’ protection is a main priority of TATLI. Victims of trafficking are often in trauma situation, lacking basic needs of life such as food, shelter, clothes, reproductive health gears and food security and are at risk for re-trafficking. TATLI works with partners and volunteers to identify victims of human trafficking. The victims are usually come from severe exploitation from abroad such as Middle East Countries or internally in Tanzania. Monitors and paralegals report some cases and incidences of human trafficking from their localities by making assessments of human trafficking and providing assistance Based on the individual case to case basis TATLI try to provide assistance, which can be counseling, transport, training, economic empowerment programs, school fees, medical assistance, legal aid, rescue, trauma support and psychosocial support. TATLI’s victims’ assistance program uses the Guidelines for assisting victims of human trafficking
